Why Meno@Work exists: Bringing structure to menopause in the workplace

published on 13 April 2026

Across organisations, a significant part of the workforce is navigating menopause while continuing to perform, lead and contribute. Yet, in many companies, the topic remains unaddressed, unstructured and often unspoken.

This is why we created Meno@Work.

The gap in today’s workplace

Over the past few years, awareness around menopause has increased. Articles, conversations and individual initiatives have helped bring visibility to the topic.

However, awareness alone is not enough.

Most organisations today face a clear gap:

  • Employees experience challenges but lack structured support
  • Leaders want to help but feel unsure how to respond
  • HR teams recognise the importance but lack practical solutions

As a result, menopause is often handled inconsistently - or not at all.

What research shows

The impact of menopause in the workplace is well documented.

Research from CIPD highlights that many employees experience symptoms that affect their work, while often feeling uncomfortable discussing it openly:

Similarly, Deloitte research shows that a significant number of women continue working through discomfort without adequate support:

Despite this, structured solutions are still rare.

From awareness to action

Organisations do not need more awareness. They need practical ways to respond.

Menopause at work requires:

  • clear guidance for leaders
  • accessible, reliable information
  • a safe space for employees
  • structured integration into existing workplace systems

This is exactly where Meno@Work comes in.
